Through reflection on real workplace experiences and immersive activities, they will strengthen their capacity to draw insights from daily challenges, enhancing how they lead change, solve problems, collaborate across teams, and build agile learning cultures.
What Is This Session About?
Focusing on real-time learning in the flow of work, the session unpacks five key dimensions of learning agility— Mental, People, Results, Change, and Self-awareness—through experiential activities, workplace-based scenarios, and guided reflection.
Participants will explore how to lead with agility, support adaptive teams, and draw lessons from everyday work challenges. The workshop equips leaders not only to grow personally, but to embed agile learning behaviors into organisational routines— accelerating performance, adaptability, and growth where it matters most: on the job.
What Does The Session Cover?
1. Explain the concept of learning agility and its importance in today's dynamic world.
2. Identify the five dimensions of learning agility (Mental, People, Results, Change, Self-awareness) and their associated qualities and predictors.
3. Describe the key mindsets and behaviors that support learning agility, including growth mindset principles.
4. Recognise common blockers to learning agility and strategies to overcome them.
5. Articulate how learning from experience contributes to the development of learning agility.

1. Apply the five dimensions of learning agility to assess and enhance their own career and life trajectories
2. Adapt learning approaches to meet changing job demands and become future-ready
3. Apply learning from experience through reflection and application techniques to address future challenges

5. Utilise sensemaking techniques to extract insights from complex or ambiguous situations, and practice methods for internalising lessons learned

Louise Phua has about 20 years' experience in corporate and consulting organisations. With extensive experience in multi-national human resources service providers, she is deeply familiar with talent acquisition and talent management in Asia. Louise is a Talent Coach, Facilitator, Trainer and Learning Designer.
Well-versed in talent management in Asia Pacific. she helps international companies to find and grow their talent and organisations. Her early career was in marketing and the media and in recent years, she has stints as a Learning Designer.She adopts a holistic and integrated approach to adult learning based on the Three Dimensions of Learning (Illeris, 2008). She has been involved in curriculum and instructional design for learning projects targeted at young adults, mid-career professionals and elderly learners. Her recent clients include Airbus, Nanyang Technological University, Sephora, Singapore Tourism Board, Temasek Polytechnic and counting.
