What Is This Session About?

What are synchronous, asynchronous, self-paced learning and e-learning? These are different learning modes that blend your classroom or workplace learning sessions with online spaces. Part 2 of the ‘Power Up Your Learning Design with Google Series’ guides participants in creating and implementing learning experiences using various Google tools. Participants will create a 4-hour learning experience using the ‘4 D’s of Learning’ to integrate technology with workplace learning. This session will be conducted online with skill practice incorporated. This session will be conducted online with skills practice incorporated. You are expected to have sound knowledge of Google tools or have completed Module 1: Google Tools 101 of this programme series.

What Does The Session Cover?

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Recommend a suitable technology implementation plan to facilitate learning in an organisation.
  • Design a tech-enabled learning experience.
  • Create a collaborative learning space in the online, offline and workplace context.
  • Deliver a learning experience using Google Tools.


^ Assessment: Formative Assessment(s) (Assignments/Presentations/Practical Performances)

^ Completion: Upon 100% attendance and meeting Assessment requirement, learners will receive a Certificate of Participation from IAL (& other partners where applicable)

Who Is It Suitable For?

 

  • Adult Education: comprises job functions in the activities of learning design, curriculum development, learning facilitation, assessment of learning competence, learning technology integration and providing consultancy and advisory services to drive business performance.
  • Learning Management: comprises job functions in the management and support of learning programmes, systems and technology management and implementation, quality assurance of learning programmes and driving business development.
  • Anyone active in Training and Adult Education who is interested to conduct classes using Google Tools.

About the Speaker

Eunice Lim (Ms)

Eunice Lim is currently an Adjunct AE at IAL and runs her own learning consultancy company providing learning solutions to companies. Her key expertise is in learning and development with more than 14 years of experience in this sector. 


As an advocate for tech-enabled learning, she has influenced and mentored educators and several organisations across various industries to innovate and improve their learning and development capabilities. 


Eunice was one of the recipients for the SkillsFuture Fellowship award in 2021. Eunice is currently doing her PhD, holds a MA in Professional Education with NTU/NIE, MSc in Real Estate Investment and Finance from Herriot Watt University and BBA in Business Administration from RMIT University. She also holds WSQ SDAF, DACE and ACTA certificates.

She is a Google for Education Certified Innovator, Trainer as well as Certified DiSC Trainer. She is currently a Co-Chairperson for Special Interest Group - Learning Technology as part of Institute for Adult Learning (IAL) Adult Educator Network (AEN ) initiative.
