In today's rapidly evolving business landscape, integrating emerging technologies is no longer a choice but necessary for organisational survival and success. Leaders and middle managers play a pivotal role in assessing emerging technology trends and optimising new technologies for workplace innovation. Navigating the complex terrain of AI requires a deep understanding of its potential and the ability to evaluate emerging technology against technological trends and business requirements for potential application to the organisation’s operations. This course empowers Leaders, Senior Managers, Decision-makers, Business owners, and working professionals to lead digital transformation in the era of AI. The 3-day training program will equip participants with the essential tools and strategies to lead amidst the disruptive forces of emerging technological trends. Here's the breakdown of the topics covered: 
 

 1. Identifying Emerging Technologies: Participants will survey the technological landscape, discover key trends, and explore their potential value for their organisation's needs. The curriculum discusses emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Blockchain, Quantum Computing, Genomics & Biotechnology, Brain Computer Interface, Robotics, Mixed Reality, the Metaverse, Big Data, and more. 
 

 2. Demystifying AI: Participants will gain a practical understanding of AI fundamentals through interactive demos and hands-on experience with selected tools.  
 

 3. Evaluating the Value of Adopting Emerging Technologies: Participants will determine the suitability of emerging technologies for their organisation through case studies and group discussions. They explore success stories, analyse stakeholder needs, evaluate the organisation's operational readiness to adopt technological solutions, and propose suitable solutions to meet organisational needs.  
 

 4. Applying the How of Change Management: Participants will develop change management plans, devise strategies to overcome specific challenges, and evaluate the feasibility of implementing new technologies.

  • Assess emerging technology trends to identify potential applications that align with their strategic directions.
  • Determine the suitability of recommended emerging technologies for one’s organization and develop a plan for technological adoption.

He is a practitioner who seamlessly integrates theoretical concepts into workshops with real-world systems designed and implemented for commercial clients. He is a workshop curator for various prototyping and robotic platforms, including Arduino, Microbit, M5Stack, Raspberry Pi and DJI RoboMaster Robots and Drones. Among other things, Ferris’ expertise lies in:
  • Delivering training sessions on Technologies such as IoT, 5G, AI, Blockchain and Drone/Aerodynamics. • conducting experiential workshops for diverse audiences, including children, adults, and schools, focusing on Electronics Prototyping, Coding, Robotics, and Drones.
