He is also the the founder and chair of the Digital Learning Community of Practice Network in Singapore consisting of around 40 HR and L&D leaders from various institutions, government bodies, MNCs and SMCs. Bala is an International Speaker on the transformation of learning and workforce development for the Digital and Social age. 

 

His more notable achievements include working in senior management roles regionally and globally for top technology companies (Motorola, Nokia and Microsoft) mainly in leading and driving the strategic people and capability development of the business. He is also a consultant who has worked with MNCs and SOEs in the Insurance, Petrochemical, Building, Railway, Banking, Medical and IT Industries across UK, APAC, US and MEA in various consulting and solution provider capacity focused in organizational, leadership capability development and digital workforce transformation.
